Wild Atlantic Mead our inaugural mead is made from our own Irish heather honey and wildflower honey, fermented slowly in the traditional way. The result is a mead with real depth and character, rooted in the oldest drinking tradition in Ireland while supporting the protection of the native Irish honey bee.

Traditional mead can be strong and heavy, so we’ve brought ours down to 8% ABV in response to what drinkers are asking for. It’s lighter and easier to enjoy, with all the flavour of the honey and none of the sharpness of a higher-strength mead.
